The ACT-IR220L attaches to the serial port of a desktop PC for wireless data transfer directly from IR-capable notebook PCs and PDAs. The ACT-IR220L is IrDA compatible, and in most cases, can reach communication distances of zero to 94 inches, by using serial-port power only! Communication rates are 9.6, 19.2, 38.4, 57.6 and 115.2 Kbps. Windows 95, 98, and 2000 drivers are included. Drivers for Windows 3.11 are available. This unit can communicate directly without any driver in the DOS mode with baud rates up to 9,600.
