In addition, the MX2820 can provide up to 63 M13s in a 7-foot bay.The MX2820 SCU is a plug-in unit for the MX2820 chassis that acts as an interface between the user and the modules in the MX2820 system. The MX2820 SCU also allows provisioning of IP, security, and craft port settings.The MX2820 MUX Card supports FLASH download data available from SCU. Provides near and far end DS3 PM. Detects DS3 alarm and loopback conditions. Monitors DS3 line conditions, sends alarms to SCU. Local or network timing modes. 1:1 equipment redundancy on DS3 and DS1. Hot swappable.
