The AlterPath ACS family of Advanced Console Server systems gives IT professionals the ability to perform secure remote data center management and out-of-band management of IT assets from anywhere in the world. The AlterPath ACS secure console server offers advanced hardware features to meet the requirements of even the most demanding data center management applications. Biometric Security can also be used in cases where ultimate security is required in out-of-band management solutions. Biometric Security provides three factor authentications using the AlterPath BIO.Console management features include native support for the Windows EMS protocols included with the Windows Server 2003, plus data buffering, direct access methods to the serial ports (such as the TCP port and server name) and event notification.
