With the ServSwitch ServSelect, you can access up to 64 CPUs with a quick keyboard sequence, pop-up menu, or a push button on the unit. You can configure and control your ServSelect from on-screen menus. You can name each server individually, so you don t need to remember which CPU is Server A and which is Server B. You can assign up to four users a username, password, and access rights so they can see and change what they re authorized to - and nothing more. The ServSelect supports a master user whose password grants functional control of all attached computers.If there is a power failure, attached servers keep the ServSelect going until power is restored. This prevents the servers from locking up. Although the ServSelect requires a PS/2 style mouse for control, it performs mouse conversion and is therefore fully compatible with PS/2 and AT style computers. It even includes support for Microsoft IntelliMouse. A single ServSelect supports up to eight CPUs (servers) on a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. If your installation grows, you can add up to eight more switches for a total of 64 CPUs.
