This is a ServSelect IP for (2) Digital Users over IP with (1) Analog Port and (16) PC Ports.Designed to make managing busy IT environments easier, the ServSelect IP enables you to control all your data center computers with one keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Plus, it simplifies access by allowing connections via a TCP/IP network. That means you can access, switch between, troubleshoot, and even reboot, up to 16 servers and other network devices from a remote WAN workstation.With KV121A two users can connect to a server farm from two separate locations over industry-standard TCP/IP paths anywhere in the world! To access the ServSelect IP as well as all attached systems via Ethernet, just load the ServSelect IP software. No special software or drivers need to be installed on the servers, and user PCs can be anywhere you can establish a network connection. Even if your data network goes down, you can access your servers from a separate network.ServSelect IP software includes an on-screen configuration and activity reporting interface for local port operation. This interface features intuitive menus that make system configuration and server selection easy. The ServSelect IP includes a null-modem cable that plugs into the configuration port on the back panel and connects to a terminal or PC running terminal-emulation software. Use this null-modem cable connection to set network speed and the IP address for the ServSelect IP. Video resolutions through the analog port can be up to 1600 x 1280 with an end-to-end cable length of up to 15 meters (49.2 ft.). Digital users can get resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 with a cable length of up to 10 meters (32.8 ft.) between the ServSelect IP and the server. Although the system adjusts automatically to the optimal video parameters, you can also fine-tune the image manually and set refresh and frame rates.
