The ISC occupies only the rear of slot 1, allowing increased service options in the front of slot 1.A Compact Flash Type 2 card replaces the PCMCIA card for use in software updates and configuration backups and features a faster processor and 16-times more memory than previous System Controller to enable additional capabilities. The alarm cut Off function allows an operator to silence an audible alarm while the alarm relay contacts to connect to external audible and visual alarm systems. The 10022's autobaud capability on the front panel asynchronous port makes for easier terminal connection. Also, the compatibility is maintained with the latest revision of all AAC modules and there is a rear DTE modem port for connecting a modem.
