Designed for enterprise installations requiring high-end server management by multiple administrators, the OutLook 4160ES simplifies deployments of large numbers of servers or multi-platform computers with its intuitive point-and-click OSCAR GUI. Each OutLook 4160ES unit can support up to (4) simultaneous users and from one to (16) attached servers, allowing for a total of (256) servers in one system. Plug-and-Play compatibility allows the detailed electronic data of compatible video modes to be automatically transferred from the monitor to the Windows system through the video cable, automatically optimizing the display system for use with the console switch. The OSCAR GUI boasts a familiar and intuitive interface. This advanced menu system is used to switch between systems and to control all administrative functions and settings. Multi-Language Support via the OSCAR GUI is offered in French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. The compact Outlook 4160ES has a 1U rack-mountable design. This enables optimal system/user port density, conserves valuable rack space, and eliminates clutter on the desktop. Locking cables eliminate a potential point of failure. A locking mechanism prevents cables from being disconnected from the switch connectors due to the weight of the cable bundles or accidental tension from a user's console. The Outlook 4160ES unit's advanced flash architecture allows software to be updated electronically without user intervention on internal, "in-band" hardware devices. A standard RS-232 DB9 serial port enables the transfer of flash software upgrades.
